About Us: Total Office Plus is a locally owned and operated supplier of office products, furniture, and workplace solutions serving Southern Alberta. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, quality products, and competitive pricing to local businesses, schools, and organizations.

We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail and warehouse location. This individual will ensure operational efficiency, top-tier customer service, and strong team performance, while fostering a sales-driven culture that reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations
- Post previous day’s sales and ensure all financial and inventory records are updated in our SSI system.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and product condition.
- Resolve stock discrepancies by working with vendors and adjusting inventory records accordingly.
- Oversee and ensure accurate customer order fulfillment and outgoing order quality control.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for efficient and timely deliveries.
- Review purchase orders daily to track incoming inventory and outstanding items.
- Monitor inventory and sales reports for order accuracy and fulfillment.
- Assist with customer deliveries during employee absences or overflow

Customer Experience
- Greet and assist all walk-in customers with a professional and helpful attitude.
- Handle incoming phone calls and provide knowledgeable support or delegate appropriately.
- Foster a culture that puts the customer first and maintains high service standards.
- Do 5 onsite calls 2X per month for own portfolio of key customers

Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide staff to maintain exceptional customer service and operational standards.
- Lead regular team meetings and provide on-the-job training.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and showroom environments.
- Identify and solve operational or customer-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Encourage a proactive sales and service mindset among team members.
- Support and coach team members who identify leads or offer process improvement suggestions.

Collaboration
- Communicate with senior leadership and peers when additional guidance or support is needed.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and success in meeting goals.

Performance Metrics:

- Inventory accuracy and timely stock receiving
- Customer satisfaction and service feedback
- Timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Team adherence to company standards
- Cleanliness and organization of showroom and warehouse
- Store sales volume, GP, and active customers per month

Qualifications:

- Experience in retail, warehouse, or store management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Experience using inventory management systems (SSI experience an asset)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Compensation:

- Competitive base salary
- Monthly performance-based bonus

- Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $4,000.00 per month
