Inside Sales Representative

**Position Summary**:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating product and service orders from customers’ inquiries. You will also assist in operations as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming sales calls and customer inquires;
- Review customer requirements and inventory to provide timely and accurate responses;
- Document any order requirement exceptions taken and confirmed;
- Process timely detailed and accurate quotation responses to the customers;
- Follow up on quotes directly with customers or with the support of the outside sales team;
- Expedite orders to ensure customer delivery dates are achieved;
- Source and purchase buy-ins from suppliers that can meet customer requirements at the best cost while achieving the required quality level;
- Maintain excellent communications with internal departments, customers, and suppliers;
- Receive, pick, and ship products, as required;
- Deliver customer orders, as required;
- Continuously improve product knowledge;
- On-call schedule
- Some weekend work.

**Qualifications**:

- **Sales Experience**:Field Store, Pipe, Flange, Valves, & Fitting and/or energy industry;
- **Operations Experience**: Shipping/receiving, manufacturing, warehouse distribution;
- **Industry Experience**: Mining, industrial, oil field, project supply, and/or fabrication industries;
- **Education**:Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field;
- **Valid Class 5 Driver’s License**and Clean Driver’s Abstract, required;
- Professional demeanor, selling style;
- Comfortable with technology in general, proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP software;
- Effective communication and negotiation skills in dealing with external and internal customers;
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills;
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical evaluation and drug test.
