**IMPORTANT NOTICE**:
I apologize for the frequent postings for caregivers. Unfortunately, the individuals I have hired thus far haven't demonstrated a reliable work ethic and have quit without notice. This job is straightforward and shouldn't be this challenging to fill. It seems some people are more interested in earning money without putting in the effort. **Location**:
I am currently living in north Edmonton by Beverly.

**About Me**:
I am a mature woman who adores my four feline companions, whom I consider to be my entire life. They hold a special place in my heart, just like children would. Despite my circumstances, I want to emphasize that I have cerebral palsy and am non-verbal. However, it's important to note that I have no developmental delays at all.

**Shifts**:
The primary shift is on Sunday from noon to 10 pm. There will be occasional shifts during the summer that need to be covered, although the specific days are currently uncertain. The role will be more like part-time. Additionally, you'll occasionally be asked to fill in for another caregiver. If you do, there might be an opportunity for shift swapping, although it's not guaranteed.

**Payment Details**:
The hourly rate for this role is $17. Payments will be made via eTransfer on the 1st of each month, following my full wake-up. This ensures that you receive your compensation promptly.

**Why the Pay is Lower**:
The hourly rate of $17 is lower due to government limitations. Unfortunately, this is the maximum amount I am able to offer for this position. I genuinely appreciate your understanding and willingness to work within these constraints.

As a caregiver, your responsibilities are multifaceted and include feeding, grooming, and ensuring the overall well-being of my cherished feline companions. You will also need to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the cats. In terms of personal assistance, you will be providing support in transfers to and from my wheelchair, ensuring my safety and comfort, assisting with showering and personal hygiene, maintaining my dignity and well-being, offering assistance with daily tasks, ensuring my comfort throughout the day, and preparing meals according to my preferences and feeding me. Household support will include occasional assistance with light household maintenance and organization. As for companionship, you will be offering a friendly and empathetic presence, engaging in conversation and activities, and understanding that each day may present unique challenges, adapting your care accordingly.

**Requirements**:
Possession of a valid driver's license is highly recommended. A background check is preferred. Proficiency in English is required. Physical strength is necessary for performing transfers and other caregiving tasks. This job is primarily for females; however, we will consider males with actual caregiving experience.
