The Opportunity
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and repair greenhouse equipment, structures and systems, including, but not limited to: irrigation systems, ventilation, climate control, glass repair, etc.- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)- Maintain and repair facility equipment, structures and systems:
- Examples of daily tasks:- Change HVAC filters-
- Conduct regular maintenance on trimming machines-
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and structure of greenhouse-
- Input and update information in computerized maintenance management software- Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times- General knowledge of greenhouse construction- Adhere to and enforce company safety procedures- Required to work a variety of different shifts depending on operational needs- Communicate effectively with team, contractors and suppliers- Other duties as assigned
Experience- Problem solving skills; willingness and flexibility to foresee and overcome obstacles- Working knowledge and experience in a wide variety of maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding and finishing work- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently-
- Greenhouse knowledge an asset- Experience working in an industrial facility (asset)- Safety certifications such as: fall arrest, ladder safety, WHMIS, etc. (asset)- Lift equipment certifications, such as tow lift and scissor lift (asset)

This is a full-time role based out of Tiverton, ON.
