Mississauga, Canada Power Bus Way Full time

We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver with general maintenance expertise. The Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering goods in a safe and timely manner to customers and vendors. This role will require driving a straight truck as well as heavy trucks with trailers. In addition, the Truck Driver will also be tasked with assisting with the general maintenance of the company buildings and equipment. We would consider a part-time employee with the appropriate experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive domestic short and long distances to deliver products to customers and vendors.
- Load/unload products/materials
- Abide by traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations
- Ensure driver’s license is up to date
- Perform duties associated with the general maintenance of the company buildings and equipment (such as routine landscaping and snow plowing, etc)
- Undertake any additional assigned tasks

Requirements and Skills
- Ontario Class A/R driver’s license (minimum)
- Familiar with using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD’s)
- Provide an insurance experience letter from the previous employer
- Experience with driving straight trucks and heavy trucks with trailers
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and snowplows
- A clean driving record is a must
- Some knowledge and experience with general maintenance of vehicles and buildings
- Comfortable using motorized equipment and power tools
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
