**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide grant-writing seminars for faculty and graduate students, as required.
- Work with the Associate Dean, Research, and Faculty leadership to develop long-term strategic plans for research within the Faculty.
- Facilitate cross-departmental links, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration in the context of strategic priorities.

**Note**
- The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in a Science-related field plus approximately five years’ related experience in research administration or related environment (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to deal with the high volume and interdisciplinary setting, and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills. Ability and confidence to communicate effectively with researchers from a variety of disciplines, with staff and senior administrators, and with sponsors.
- Experience with preparation of individual and multi-author research proposals for government funding agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to integrate and synthesize complex data and ideas.
- Familiarity with Nova Scotia, Canadian and international major research funding programs.
