Calgary, Canada Budget Car & Truck Rental Full time

Budget Car & Truck Rental is looking for a Shop Hand that will assist us with the following duties:

- Perform oil changes and tire changes as needed under manager/team member’s direction and supervision
- Detailing vehicles (vacuum, washing interior and exterior)
- Vehicle movement from auction, locations, etc. as needed under the direction of Shop Manager or Senior Management when needed
- Basic maintenance around CSC as directed by the Shop Manager (example: driving the snow plow and snow removal around the CSC Admin building, lawn maintenance, etc.)
- Assisting the Shop staff as well as Shop Manager with ad hoc projects throughout the year
- Any other duties as assigned by the Shop Manager/Senior Management

Teamwork Responsibilities:

- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Report unsafe equipment or hazardous spills.
- Displays our company core values. Treats other team members with courtesy and respect.
- Maintain adequate supplies at workstations.
- Quick learner; follows directions adequately.

General
- Understand and demonstrate competency in the policies and procedures as it applies to your position.
- Meet company requirements for attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain an acceptable Alberta driver’s license and driving record (no more than 3 demerits) and clean criminal record.
- Observe all traffic and safe driving rules when driving vehicles.
- Demonstrate ability to drive a variety of vehicles.
- May need to lift up to 50 lbs. Some bending required.
- Long periods of standing and walking required.
