**Position Overview**

As a Manager at Cahill CPA LLP, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our clients' and leading a team of talented professionals. Reporting directly to the Partner group, you will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements across many service lines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic guidance to clients and providing development and mentorship opportunities to staff.

**Responsibilities**

1. Client Management: a. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service. b. Understand clients' business objectives, industry trends, and challenges to provide proactive financial advice and solutions. c. Manage and oversee all aspects of client engagements, including financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance.

2. Team Leadership: a. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to a team of accountants and associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. b. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables to meet client deadlines. c. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support professional development initiatives for team members.

3. Reporting, Compliance and Regulation: a. Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to relevant accounting standards. b. Prepare and present financial statements and other financial reports, highlighting key findings and insights to clients and other stakeholders. c. Stay up to date with the latest accounting regulations, industry standards, and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance.

d. Oversee the preparation and review of tax filings, including income tax returns, sales tax, and other tax returns.

4. Process Improvement: a. Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes, enhance operational efficiency, and leverage technology solutions. b. Implement best practices and standardize procedures to optimize workflow and ensure consistent high-quality deliverables. c. Actively contribute to firm-wide initiatives and participate in the development of firm policies and procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation is required.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public practice accounting, with experience in accounting, tax and assurance.

Strong technical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable tax regulations.

Proven experience in managing a variety of client engagements.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to clients and our team.

Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., TaxPrep, Caseware, QuickBooks, Excel, etc).

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
