Job Post: Customer Service Representative

Job Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a **Customer Sales Representative - Delivery Driver & Product Support in Kelowna.** In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers are fully stocked with Wagonmaster products and services. This entry-level sales position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the company, potentially leading to account manager roles. Your ability to be polite, prompt, and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience will be key to your success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Delivery & Vehicle Maintenance:

- Operate and maintain a delivery vehicle, ensuring proper loading and inventory control.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and tidy, with weekly washing (weather permitting).
- Track and report vehicle maintenance needs and issues to the technical specialist.
- Adhere to all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Perform emergency deliveries and handle tool/equipment transportation as required.
- Deliver and remove barrels as necessary.

Customer Engagement & Support:

- Visit a scheduled route of existing customers, building and reinforcing strong business relationships.
- Count products, invoice, and restock shelves to expected levels unless directed otherwise.
- Review customer orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and communicate stocking level issues to the technical specialist and/or account manager.
- Answer customer questions, solve problems, and serve as a resource for them.
- Complete daily sync procedures on the computer ordering system.
- Manage product returns with approval from the account manager.

Warehouse & Equipment Maintenance:

- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and refurbish equipment both in the warehouse and in the field.
- Keep a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs for proper inventory control.
- Handle equipment-related calls from internal customers.

Sales Support:

- Identify sales opportunities and potential threats, communicating them to the technical specialist and/or account manager.
- Assist in developing and executing strategic sales plans to grow individual accounts.
- Perform token payouts according to a set schedule.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Accurate product delivery and inventory control.
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs repetitively and move large drums with mechanical assistance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Professional communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adopt company sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to quickly navigate PCs, tablets, smartphones, and communication tools.

Working Conditions:
Work will be split between the warehouse, delivery vehicle, and customer locations, including both indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperature conditions.

**Mandatory Requirement**:
Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Manual ability for writing and computer tasks.
- Regular twisting, bending, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to move large volume drums with some mechanical assistance.
