Description:
As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in a community setting, preference will be given to those with experience working within an Emergency Department. Preference will be given to those who are trained utilizing Connect Care (both ASAP and Ambulatory) for both scheduling and EMR. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), and time management skills is required. BCLS Level C - Health Care Provider is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Strong critical thinking skills, along with demonstrated organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, and effectively work with frequent interruptions, noise, and nearby distractions. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training an asset.
