**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain up to date wine lists in the restaurant
- Do monthly wine inventory and ensure it is accurate
- Staff training on wine service and knowledge
- Order wines in conjunction with the Food & Beverage Director and ensure the hotel wine list is up to industry standards

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Recognized Sommelier Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years in Food & Beverage/Hospitality Industry.
- Must have superior and accredited proficiency in areas of mixology, bar products, wine, and culinary product knowledge.
- Responsible for Inventory control, ordering of beverages and cigars
- Must organize and promote Wine events for members and staff
- Must be able to oversee and supervise Dining Room in the absence of the Head Waiter
- Must organize and facilitate employee product training with emphasis on wine and beverage.
- Must design and facilitate wine tasting programs for guests.
- Must design and/or maintain all beverage inventory and act as liaison on behalf of the resort with NSLC and product suppliers.
- Must be organized and able to multi task.
- Must be willing to work in all areas of food & beverage services, including banquets, as required.
- Must be available for formal dining service to consult with team members and guests on wine suggestions, as required.
- Must participate in team meetings.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to handle busy periods and sometimes-long hours.
- Knowledge of POS
- Additional languages are an asset
