**Primary Responsibilities**
- Adheres to agency. policies and procedures as well as applicable legislation in all aspects of programming
- Assists staff in crisis response, design and implementation of individual and group service delivery for clients,
- Oversees case management and collaborative service delivery with community partners for clients accessing supportive cabins program
- Collection and reporting of program data using various statistical tracking methods
- Maintains a high standard of confidentiality and safety (both personal and client) at all times
- Implements standard safety procedures and accident reporting when required
- Ensures agency compliance with required legislation
- On-call coverage requirements

**Programming**
- Reviewing referrals for supportive cabins with program manager
- Assist staff with the development of individualized goals and support measures for clients regarding life skills education and housing search
- Liaise with maintenance services when required
- Ensure client file notes are maintained on the client information management system
- Maintain client master files by affixing assessment and intervention plan, statistical forms, consents, and any relevant internal information including all housing program forms
- Ensure safe operation of supportive cabins program
- Assist program manager with developing and maintaining processes as they relate to the implementation of supportive cabins program

**Community**
- Represents the agency at local meetings, coalitions and collaborative efforts
- Identifies areas for potential partnership/growth of the agency and its programs
- Ensures agency continues to meet the needs of the local community and clients through innovative and diversified programming

**Financial/Fund Development**
- Ensures compliance with petty cash control and record keeping procedures of housing staff
- Implements agency goals within the framework of policies and approved budget
- Assists with the facilitation of agency community events and fundraising initiatives

**Supervision**
- Direct daily supervision of housing program staff, volunteers and students in collaboration with Program Manager
- Assists with regular performance reviews and supervision meetings with staff and students
- Administers personnel policies in conjunction with the management team and in consultation with Board of Directors
- Implement risk management for all staff members, volunteers and clients
- Identifies training needs for staff, students and volunteers
- Completion of time management duties, including approvals for requested time off, and time sheet reviews

Note: Other duties may be required to ensure the successful implementation of all agency programs and activities. Staff are expected to be able to work in all aspects of the agency’s programming.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Post-secondary education in the social services combined with several years’ experience in social services. Consideration may be given to applicants with significant experience in lieu of education.
- Suicide Prevention and Mental Health First Aid, CPR/First Aid, Harm Reduction
- Experience in a supervisory role is an asset
- Experience working with clients who have complex needs
- Familiarity with local community resources
- Familiarity with risk management
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle

**Other Requirements**
- Superior communication skills - both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor communication styles to meet the needs of specific audiences
- Highly entrepreneurial, resourceful and flexible
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Computer literacy with MS Office suite, experience with data collection and reporting
- Ability to inspire, motivate and empower personnel to fulfill the organization’s mission, vision and strategic goals
- Commitment to professional integrity and ethical work habits
- G2 license

**Working Conditions**
- Outdoor work required in variety of elements (snow, heat, rain, etc.)
- Office work required
- Periods of both solitary work and collaborative teamwork
- Direct work with clients experiencing mental health crises, addictions, homelessness
- Required to transport clients in personal vehicle on a regular basis

**Work Hours**: 37.5 hours per week - flexible to work evenings, overnights and weekend hours as required
**Salary**: $65,022/year
