**Drywall Project Coordinator**

Ritewall Limited is a Drywall Contractor within the ICI sector and is looking for qualified, knowledgeable, adaptable individual looking to develop their career as Project Coordinator.

Our office is based out of Burlington, Ontario we specialize in renovations, retrofits, new builds and additions in the industrial/commercial/institutional sectors and we are a growing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Review subcontract for requirements
- Review change requests from site and prime contractor and prepare quotes
- Review Project Logs
- Prepare monthly Work in Progress reports to prepare detailed labour and material completion estimates
- Prepare project reports as required
- Identify, mitigate and manage risk areas of the project, involve management immediately on potential loss items
- Review all work and documents for completeness
- Review and prepare all close-out documents, including as-builts, manuals, warranties, and other maintenance information
- Prepare original budgets, price and process changes and internal accounting revisions
- Prepare and/or review phasing and sequencing plans
- Oversee, prepare, collect, distribute, and maintain project start-up documentation for Ritewall and trade contractors
- Summarize events for Management for risk items including writing and distributing notices and claims
- Understand and prepare preliminary, interim, and baseline schedules for distribution to all parties
- Review and approve Accounts Payable
- Prepare and have certified Accounts Receivables and collect payments
- Problem solve construction related issues and assist in resolution to provide a complete project
- Maintain and promote project completion schedule, identify bottlenecks and long lead items and plan appropriately to work around these issues
- Have a strong understanding of and CCA1 subcontracts
- Conduct professionally with mindset to obtain project, consultant, and client references and repeat business.
- Other duties as may be required

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in architectural, construction management or similar (an asset)
- Must have relevant experience in a similar role in the construction environment
- Drywall and framing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project
- Bluebeam & Procore proficiency (an asset)
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills in English
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Assist with value engineering to meet client budget requirements
- Must have a willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced construction environment - your versatility and productivity will be an asset to the company.
- Build and maintain relationships with sub-contractors, clients, architects and consultants

**This role would be ideal for someone who has past drywall and framing experience (on site and/or in office).**

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project Coordinator or Drywall: 3 years (required)
