Alberta Base Anodizing is an aluminum coating and finishing company that has served Alberta for over 25 years. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that forms an Aluminum Oxide Coating on products made from Aluminum. This coating is used in many different industries, as it is environmentally friendly while offering corrosion protection and durability to the base part.
**Job description**
The responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Execute the anodizing of various customer supplied parts and pieces to meet customer deadlines and quality standards. This includes proper racking and un-racking of the components as well as packaging and shipping finished goods.
- Maintain the anodizing production line including but not limited to chemical testing, performing routine equipment maintenance and maintaining inventory of anodizing chemicals.
- Manage the flow of production by scheduling anodizing jobs efficiently while meeting customer deadlines.
Perform customer service duties that may include receiving customers parts and updating orders.
We are looking for someone who:
- possesses a high degree of attention to detail; is able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; and has a strong work ethic;
- has excellent problem-solving and spatial relations skills;
- has basic math skills and an aptitude for chemistry;
- is mechanically inclined with the ability to learn, understand and run multiple pieces of equipment such as a crane, pallet jack and a chiller;
- has good communication and organization skills, patience & computer literacy;
- possesses normal colour vision, manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination;
- is physically strong to lift a minimum of 50 lbs plus stand, walk, carry and bend through-out the day;
- is able to balance accuracy with speed and remain focused during repetitive tasks;
- performs well under pressure; and
- experience with anodizing is an asset however not required.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
