**Facility Caretaker**

**Working hours**:

- Full-time, year-round
- Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm (flexible hours available)
- Overtime available but not required

**Compensation**:

- $24 - 28 per hour (based on experience)
- Paid holidays, time off and sick leave

This position will require a background check upon hire

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform walk-through assessments and prepare cost estimates
- Complete general maintenance work
- Move heavy furniture, appliances and equipment
- Assist with electrical, plumbing and HVAC preventative maintenance
- Clean windows, gutters, pavement, and other exterior surfaces
- Take on other installation, repair, and maintenance duties as needed
- Follow workplace health and safety rules
- Load and unload tools and equipment from work vehicles
- Assist with landscaping
- Grounds maintenance
- Light & heavy equipment operation and management
- Maintain greenhouse
- Tree care/pruning
- Snow removal

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience as a handyman, caretaker or groundskeeper
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge
- Proficient Carpentry skills
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements
- Able to sit, stand, kneel, lift and climb ladders
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Can reliably work alone and as part of a team
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Friendly with good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
