Screen Maker

The Screen Maker is responsible for screen stretching, stencil development, screen storage, screen washing, and repair of damaged screens. Essential job responsibilities include:
- Clean and reclaim screens in tank using pressure washer, appropriate cleaning chemicals and suitable safety equipment following current procedures and work instructions
- Block out and prepare screens for press and file screen in the appropriate rack in alignment with work instructions
- Coat screens using automatic coating machine then record screen number and information in database prior to prepping for next station
- Correctly expose and wash out screens making sure all detail and information from film is held on the screen
- Break down ripped screens and stretch new screens according to work instruction
- Ensure proper operation of equipment, requesting maintenance request from supervisor if needed
- Maintain inventory of materials and notify supervisors of supplies needed
- Other duties as assigned
**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
