Production Assistant / Pad Printing machine operator / Packer / Unpacker

We are a busy pad printing facility located in Maple Ridge, BC looking for a Pad Printer/packer to join the team The nature of this position requires someone with a strong attention to detail to maintain our high quality standard in printing. We are looking for someone who is interested in long term work and will be very reliable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Pack / unpack product for printing
- Count and confirm order quantities
- Set-up and Operation of Pad Printing Machine
- Perform pre print checks to compare artwork, proofing, product verification, ink colors/PMS check, print registration, and print quality
- Meet Production schedule expectations
- Filling out order documentation,
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Assist in other areas of production if needed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to notice fine details to ensure quality work
- Basic understanding of math
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to discern colours and shades
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment (Meet daily order quota)
- Very self motivated with the ability to work well on your own.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Full-Time

Applicants with experience is a plus but specific training will be provided.

We don’t require any print experience to get started. We are looking for someone who has an strong eye for detail and colour accuracy. If you enjoy working well on your own and and are willing to learn we look forward to hearing from you Any printing industry experience is an added bonus

Wages: $18.00 to $25.00

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Maple Ridge, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
