Business Analyst
- 12 Months Contract

**Description:
- Temporary Full Time- We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be reporting to the Associate Manager on the Dealer Operations Team and will support the dealer system team as an escalation point for production issues.- The Business Analyst role requires a fully-proficient analyst who uses their experience and industry knowledge to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively and efficiently while ensuring that stakeholder input is considered.- The expectations are for the Business Analyst to be a Subject Matter Expert on dealer systems and processes, including involvement in projects and initiatives.**What you will do**
- Investigating, analyzing, and actioning incoming requests efficiently to minimize impact on dealer operations
- Provide clear and effective communication with technical and business partners
- Efficiently managing resources and timelines to minimize downtime and restore normal operations promptly
- Act as an escalation point for production support issues including reporting incidents and providing updates on resolution progress
- Work closely with Vendor, Administration, Compliance, Tax/Accounting Team and Compensation Specialist if required
- Act within service standards to minimize financial impact
- Maintain appropriate team documentation, including procedural guides and job aids

**What you will bring**
- Proven ability to maintain composure and focus during high-stress situations to make sound decisions, quickly change priorities and respond in a positive manner
- Capability to assess the severity and scope of incidents, prioritize response actions, and identify root causes
- Prior experience working with securities, mutual and segregated funds, and investment products is an asset
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Completion of the IFIC Operations and/or Investment Funds Course is an asset
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or technology-related field
- Bilingual (French/English) is considered a strong asset

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London or Toronto.
- The base salary for this position is between **$54,500****:

- $76,600** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
