**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must have a minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Post secondary degree or diploma in the field of Information Technology or equivalent experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude i.e. is able to run wires, drill holes, climb ladders, install brackets etc.
- The ability to reference manuals for setup
- Be able to troubleshoot and maintain PC’s with internet connection
- The ability to prepare and organize associated paper work
- Must possess above average communication skills, be highly motivated and self directed
- Must possess a strong customer service oriented approach.
- Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition and adheres to applicable health and safety issues

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Be able to perform telephone installations using the outlined procedures
- Install and test internet connectivity
- Install cable TV using the outlined procedures and practices
- Be able to disconnect all equipment for all services when required
- Educate and answer any questions the customer may have
- Prepare and complete all associated documentation
- Troubleshoot any programming errors
- Communicate in clear concise language to the customer paying particular attention to their needs
- Act in a professional and polite manner while representing the company on official business - be the face of the company
- Be able to translate IT Technology and jargon into easily understood language
- Perform other duties as requested by the department or team.
