The City of Abbotsford has an opportunity available for a full-time Financial Analyst. If you are a detail-oriented and diplomatic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment filled with opportunities, this could be the role for you

In this crucial position, you will be responsible for assisting management with the budget development process for the City’s operating and capital financial plans; providing a variety of analysis and reports to support finance functions including budgeting, reporting, payroll, collections, and payables; and preparing various statutory financial accounting documents required to be produced by municipal governments.

This role requires an analytical, collaborative self-starter with project management skills and excellent communication skills to develop project plans, collaborate with cross-organizational teams to achieve priorities and streamline processes, and perform a variety of ad-hoc complex financial analysis and forecasting.
- University degree in Business or equivalent
- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Five years of progressive accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical knowledge of SAP (or another ERP)

**Salary: $108,726 - $128,291**
