**Overview**:
**Position: Order Picker**
Full-time position (40hr/week)
Monday to Friday
6:00am to 2:30pm

Previous warehousing or order picking experience is beneficial and has the potential to affect starting salary.
Counterbalance (electric) forklift experience strongly preferred.
Ride-on pallet truck experience strongly preferred.

**Duties and Requirements**:
The Order Picker reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. The Order Picker is responsible for the assembly and organization of customer orders and outgoing material shipments, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and all finished product. The Order Picker works closely with the Production Manager to communicate material shortage and scheduling issues.
- Analyze, plan, and delegate customer order assembly tasks in an efficient manner
- Assemble orders on as few pallets as possible while following all customer and quality requirements
- Ensure that documentation is completed accurately and all lot numbers are recorded
- Ensure all materials are picked according to FIFO
- Report inventory discrepancies to the Production Manager immediately
- Report and help solve all quality discrepancies
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure the correct and efficient storage of all materials
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure spilled materials and broken bags are cleaned up and repacked immediately
- Ensure the warehouse aisles, palletizers, warehouse office, order picker desk, vehicles, and all other workstations are clean and free of debris
- Follow all company policies
- Understand and assist in other departments as needed

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently. Be able to react quickly, calmly and safely. Bring a positive personality to the workplace. Be willing to learn.

Work in other areas production and sanitation may be required at times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
