Mover Helper

Duties:

- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and other items onto and off of trucks
- Safely and efficiently pack, wrap, and protect items for transport
- Assist driver with navigation and backing up the truck
- Assist stager with various tasks including, but not limited to: placing furniture, setting up beds, cleaning furniture
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage to property

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with moving techniques and equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and straps

**Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Effective communication skills to work well with team members and follow instructions
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is beneficial

Please note that this job will require heavy lifting at times and working in various weather conditions. While the majority of our inventory and equipment is not particularly heavy (as furniture goes), you will need to have good balance and coordination to move through tight corridors. **Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $84.00-$420.00 per week

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
