- Study engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently
- Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
- Install fabricated components in final product

- Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

- 4th Period Apprentice
- 1st Period Apprentice

- Metal Fabricator (Fitter) Red Seal Certificate
- Metal Fabricator Trade Certification

**Equipment and Machinery Experience**
- Shears
- Saws
- Grinder
- Drills
- Cutting torches
- Ironworker

**Additional Skills**
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Hand rails experience preferred.

**Salary**: Up to $38.00 per hour
