**CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE** **COMPANY DESCRIPTION** RAE Industrial Electronics Limited (RAE) is a distributor of electronics, test equipment, electrical, security and industrial automation products. Our goal is to assist our customers in any avenues to increase their productivity, reduce their cost and ensure they receive quality products. RAE believes in having product specialists and top-quality products that allow us to provide complete value-added solutions. *** **RANGE OF DUTIES** - Create quotations and source product when required - Process quotes and orders with accuracy - Upsell customers when opportunities are presented - Schedule and perform quote and order follow up - Communicate with Inside and Outside Sales Rep’s to ensure their customer’s expectations are being met - Identify and generate sales leads - Identify and adapt to the customers’ needs with intention to achieve satisfaction - Build sustainable relationships of trust through open, professional and interactive communication - Communicate and provide accurate, valid and complete information - Keep records of customer interactions and file documents in an organized manner - Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies - Go the extra mile to engage customers **ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** - Hold a diploma in electronic technology; or a minimum of two years of related experience within the industrial electronics and automation sectors; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks is crucial **_“Solutions Through Technology” _** - Have strong phone contact handling and active listening skills - Have the ability to keep organized, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills - Have a passion for customer satisfaction and the ability to see the "big picture" - Technically competent with various software programs, such as MS GP Dynamics, SalesPad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, etc. **_“Solutions Through Technology” _** **Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift
