**Chronicles Cannabis** is looking to hire a **Retail Store Manager** for our Woodstock

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the operation of the store. They will participate in hiring, training and overseeing staff, ensure an exceptional customer experience and drive sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day operations of the store
- Responsible for hiring staff and performing human resources tasks, such as employee shift scheduling and on-boarding
- Recruit, coach and manage top talent, evaluate performance with team members and provide feedback on a regular basis
- Deliver an exceptional customer and employee experience that lead to long lasting relationships and empower the staff to do so as well
- Identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with customers to communicate service requirements
- Stay current with product knowledge, company information, new launches, campaigns and promotions
- Ensure the store is presented in a manner consistent with the Chronicles Cannabis brand
- Enforcing and complying with all company and store policies, practices and procedures
- Adhere to and enforce loss prevention and security policies, credit policies and procedures, i.e. credit cards, discounts, employee purchases, deposit logs, return and exchange policies
- Conduct weekly inventory and reporting, assist with audits and monitor market trends
- Liaise with law enforcement, AGCO Inspectors, landlords and local community as needed.
- Help curate a tailored product menu for the Woodstock market
- Help execute on marketing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in the retail, hospitality, or customer service industries
- Minimum 1 year of Cannabis Retail Store Manager experience
- CannSell Standard Certification must be completed prior to employment
- Cannabis Retail Manager License is preferred but not required
- Criminal background check clearance
- Familiarity with OCS products and ordering procedures
- Experience with POS systems
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work in and adapt to a highly regulated industry
- Ability to handle the physical demands of a retail environment including carrying up to 11kg
- High School or equivalent (required)
- College or University degree in commerce, business management, retail operations or a related area considered an asset

Schedule:
We are looking for managers with flexible availability and able to work varying shifts that may include days, evenings, weekends and potential holidays.

**Salary**: $53,000.00-$59,000.00 per year

- Store Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Cannabis Retail: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

- CannSell Standard Certificate (preferred)
- Retail Cannabis Manager License (preferred) (preferred)
