Ottawa, Canada C&M Textiles (Ottawa) Inc Full time

We are looking for a career minded customer service focused sales associate to join our Home Decor team.

In this role you will guide our clients through our extensive range of têxtiles and custom window treatments to find just the right thing for their home decor project. We specialize not only in fabric by the yard but also in the production of drapery, cushions, bedding and much more. You will be consulting with our clients in our showroom and also in their homes and businesses, to select and co-ordinate drapery, hardware, blinds and other decor têxtiles. An interest in interior design is important to be successful in this role.

You will calculate and cost out projects so mathematical understanding is a must. From the initial consultation to the final installation, you will manage all aspects of the client project. Great communication skills are essential as you liase with our workrooms, suppliers and installers to ensure the right products are produced, procured and installed to installer measurements.

It is not essential but would be an asset if you also had some general decor knowledge and have experience in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Outlook.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
