**Full-time Permanent Scheduling Clerk**

**Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Under the direction of the Director of Care, the Staffing Clerk is responsible for:
(a) maintaining the master rotation of all nursing care staff, ensuring assignments reflect most economical and effective use of human resources;
(b) problem-solving with the Director of Care or designate when replacement resources are limited or unavailable;
(c) reporting situations that impact staffing replacement and ensuring the Nurse/ HCA call list is maintained in an accurate and up to date manner.

(d) keeping up to date of union contractual clauses, which impact on staffing practices of Nurses and HCAs.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**1. Education**
- Grade X11

**2. Special Skills / Training**
- Knowledge of Word /Excel / Payroll/ESP

**3. Experience**:

- Knowledge /Experience with staffing in healthcare
- Previous health care clerical experience

**4. Other Attributes**:

- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a mature professional manner
- Good understanding of PHIA, Confidentiality and Respectful Workplace concepts
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work under stressful conditions with frequent interruptions
- Excellent mental and physical health, including good attendance to meet the requirements of the position
