**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Performing daily plant inspections and identifying and remedying any problems to optimize plant health, product quality, and throughput
- Control Argus automation, which includes fertigation schedule, CO2 dosing, light schedule and grow room environments
- Documenting all actions taken with plants and following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Monitor the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program and provide reports as requested by the Master Grower
- Perform regular scheduled water, nutrient and soil tests regarding EC and PH along with recording all results and submitting them to the Master Grower as needed
- Report any issues with irrigation, environment, crop health, and equipment through the proper channels
- Monitor inventory levels on all cultivation specific materials or tools and report any requirements to the Master Grower on a weekly basis
- Assist with managing all staff in the department including assigning tasks, ensuring that staff are sufficiently trained and competent to perform tasks, and providing feedback to staff both informally and as part of performance reviews
- Assist in managing all aspects of plant health from propagation until harvest
- Working alongside other production managers
- Working within BOLD’s quality program, including proper documentation (SOPs, BPRs, etc.)
- Ensuring accurate inventory movement logs and relevant reports
- Ensuring compliance with the Regulations
- Nurturing a positive and healthy corporate culture
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Expectations**:
- 3+ years in horticulture, agriculture or botany
- Solid understanding of commercial cultivation
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is an asset
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of following strict processes and procedure, with attention for detail
- 1-2 years of experience working within a highly regulated GPP/GMP/HACCP environment is an asset
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience working in cannabis cultivation is an asset
- Valid driver’s license or reliable form of transportation
**Work Conditions**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour daytime shifts
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work based on business needs
