**The opportunity: Lead of Business Operations**

As a **Lead of Business Operations**, you’ll be driving efficiency across Ground News. This role blends strategic thinking, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the business operates efficiently and scales effectively. You’ll partner closely with the founders to translate vision into actionable plans, optimize internal processes, and lead initiatives that have a direct impact on growth and revenue.

**What you’ll do**:

- Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the Founders and leadership team to set organizational goals, track progress, and ensure alignment across functions.
- Operational Excellence: Identify inefficiencies and implement frameworks that improve day-to-day operations across Sponsorships, Growth, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Ops.
- Business Analytics & Insights: Monitor KPIs, surface insights, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Marketing Operations: Analyze marketing performance data and paid advertising spend across channels to evaluate strategies and ensure the right investments are driving growth.
- Financial & Resource Planning: Collaborate with Finance on budget creation, expense tracking, and forecasting.

**What you’ll bring**:

- 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, management consulting, or similar high-impact roles.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of leveraging data insights to drive data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with strong ability to influence at all levels.
