Pharmacy Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing excellent customer service;
- Collecting and verifying patients’ information;
- Identifying & addressing patients’ concerns effectively;
- Preparing, counting and filling prescriptions accurately;
- Preparing and scheduling compliance packs for patients;
- Inventory management (re-ordering, stocking, pulling expired, processing returns,..etc);
- Filing, reviewing or updating of forms and reports on regular basis;
- Answering the phone and effectively communicating with patients, doctors’ offices, hospitals or third parties insurance companies;
- Processing transactions on the cash register (POS);
- Maintaining work space by doing frequent cleaning and organizing and general upkeep duties of the pharmacy;
- Adhering to all the pharmacy policies and guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong and effective communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Attention to details;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience is preferred;
- Pharmaclik Rx (Nexxsys) experience is preferred;
- Ability to lift up heavy boxes (up to 45 lb), ability to climb flight of stairs several times a day;
- Proactive, Positive, Reliable, Self-Motivation to Success with Strong Ability to Grasp New Concepts and Retain Information.
