**Health Care Aide - Job Overview**

In this role, you'll provide essential, non-medical support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Your presence and care will help clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity - right where they belong.

**What You'll Do**:

- Assisting with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with daily tasks as requested, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, dog walk - Transporting clients to and from appointments, outings, or essential errands, as needed
- Offering companionship and emotional support that fosters trust and connection
- Monitoring client well-being and promptly reporting any changes to the nurse in charge, family members, - Supporting clients living with dementia and cognitive challenges
- Promoting independence through safe mobility assistance and gentle encouragement
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Documenting care provided and communicating with families and care teams
- Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client

**What You Bring**:

- Experience in senior care, assisted living, or home care (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with basic care practices and medication support
- Understanding of the needs of individuals living with chronic illness, disability, or dementia - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering care with kindness, professionalism, and respect
- Dependability, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to caregiving

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.84-$24.91 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
