**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. ( ie. Kin, Phs. Ed, Human Kin, AT)
- Must be able to demonstrate and teach functional corrective exercises ie. FMS.
- Proficient in teaching and demonstrating functional patterns such as the deadlift, squat, pushing & pulling.
- Knowledge in the proper use of kettlebells/cable machines/suspension trainers and body weight exercises.
- Certified as a CSCS considered an asset.
- 1+ years of training experience.
- Must be available for a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

**COM**PHYSIO+ is centrally located within Barrie and close to Kempenfelt Bay in a beautiful 5,000 sq. ft. facility featuring individual treatment offices and a large high-end private gym. The clinic is well equipped with premium manual therapy and exercise equipment, as well as state-of-the-art technology.

We are a multi-disciplinary practice, with physiotherapists, massage therapists, athletic therapists and advanced movement therapists working together to exceed the rehabilitation needs of our patients

We are a physiotherapy and performance wellness facility in Barrie, Ontario. We have an experienced team of health professionals who offer specialized treatment services for any pain, injury, or discomfort you may be feeling. We treat all sports related injuries and complicated recurring injuries that continue due to imbalances in the body. We have had success treating a wide variety of clients including Professional Hockey Players, Olympic, National and Provincial Athletes, University Varsity Athletes, Ultra-marathon Runners, Junior Hockey Players and a variety of youth teams and individuals. Using our All-Inclusive Physiotherapy care model, our treatment philosophy includes using manual techniques, pemf, laser and acupuncture to restore normal joint and soft tissue mobility, then supplementing it with functional corrective exercise techniques and movement strategies to prevent injury recurrence. We not only treat the initial injury, but help prevent future injuries by educating and teaching how to move better. By understanding where and how movement is generated, you learn how to move more efficiently which helps to prevent further injury. This enables you to continue the sports and activities you enjoy doing. As experienced physiotherapists, massage therapists and movement therapists, so we really understand how to retrain movement patterns and correct faulty ones which will provide the foundation for safe and effective performance.
