We are looking to add a full time, Kinesiologist to our team at our Heritage location. We are only looking for long term, permanent employees (**no summer students**).
**Responsibilities of a Kinesiologist include**:
- Conduct functional assessments and mobility screenings of post-operative patients (hip and knee replacements)
- Teach and explain personalized exercise programs based on surgical protocols and individual needs
- Monitor patient recovery and promote safe and effective mobility
- Educate patients on proper movement mechanics, joint protection, gait training, and safe use of assistive devices
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, and nurses to coordinate care plans
- Document patient sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with clinic and privacy guidelines
- Support discharge planning by preparing patients for home exercise programs and long-term mobility strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and encouraging clinical environment for patients of varying ages and abilities
**To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Well-developed communication and management skill
- A kinesiology degree
Hours would be Tuesday to Friday evening shifts (1/1:30pm-9/9:30pm) and Saturday morning shifts with 30-35 hours per week. Entry level wages depend on experience with room for advancement.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
