- A rate of pay of $21.00 / hour (Base rate $19.00, plus additional $2.00 driver premium after successful completion of the Driver Airside certification exam)

- $300 hiring bonus for joining our team (Hiring Bonuses are taxable income and will be paid out in two increments: the first payment is provided after successful completion of 30 days and the second, final payment is provided upon completion of 90 days. This Warehouse Driver Associate Job Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

- Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a 1 ton or 5 ton truck from our warehouse
- Working at the Vancouver International Airport

Your Team is counting on you as a Warehouse Driver Associate to:

- Provide flexibility to work any shift within the hours of 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Work a Part-Time Schedule

Warehouse Driver Associate Key Duties:

- Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and validating adherence to road ability standards
- Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items
- Delivers items by identifying destinations, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining the schedule to the airport terminal(s)
- Delivering the warehouse product to the stores
- Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and obtaining/scheduling required repairs
- Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior
- Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms
- Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities
- Unloading merchandise from the truck to the individual stores within the airport.

Required Qualifications:

- Completion of the YVR Driver Airside (DA) exam prior to officially starting the position
- Minimum 1 year box truck driving experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong scheduling and travel logistics skills
- Be customer focused and deadline-oriented
- Acute vision, Ability to continually lift, lower, carry, push, and pull up to 25 kg (50lbs)
- Ability to work flexible hours: early mornings-weekends-holidays
- Be dependable and punctual
- Be able to successfully clear a Transport Canada Security Clearance background check
- Must be comfortable driving a 1-ton and 5-ton box truck
- Must be comfortable operating or learning to operate the Electric Pallet Jack
- Must have a valid Provincial Class 5 driver's license with an excellent driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Prior stockroom or warehouse experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
