Masonry Labourer

DESCRIPTION

Be a part of our growing team We are looking for Masonry Labourer's to help with custom construction projects. Experience is an asset but we are willing to train individuals that show commitment. Using equipment is essential. You must have physical strength, endurance and show good work ethic. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules, are essential. Our solid team gives opportunity to folk who show initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist masons and other labourer's in custom construction builds
Erect and break up scaffolding, ramps etc. with attention to safety
Unload and carry materials at construction sites
Use equipment like mortar mixers and different stone cutting saws
Prepare construction materials
Mix and distribute mortar to masons
Keep jobsites clean from debris and discarded material
Load scaffold with masonry materials
Follows directions that have been put in place by leader

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Asset to have experience as construction worker
Asset to have experience in operating equipment like mortar mixers, drills, pneumatic hammers etc.
Asset to have knowledge of mixing and pouring masonry material (concrete, sand, grout etc.)
Follows direction well
Strong work ethic
Good physical strength
Works and communicates well with a team

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
