**Service Support Technician**

Location: Saskatoon

**About the Position**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Investigate hardware and software issues through root cause analysis
- Plan and deploy short-term and long-term solutions
- Provide thorough documentation using IRD’s ticket system(s)- Investigate hardware and software issues through root cause analysis
- Plan and deploy short term and long term solutions
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Support field team with hardware replacements

**Requirements**:
**Recommended Qualifications**:

- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Background in IT or a Technology related field
- 2 or more years working in a Support Services/Help Desk environment
- Experience with SQL or running SQL queries
- Experience with several help desk tools and access control systems.
- Previous customer service experience an asset
- Experience with Jira/Atlassian Products an asset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Strong problem-solving and logical decision-making abilities
