**Job description**

Instrumentation Apprenticeship

**As an Instrumentation Apprentice you will complete the following tasks**:

- Oil and Gas facility construction and maintenance
- Device setup and calibration
- Gas and liquid metering setup and calibration
- Equipment troubleshooting and problem solving
- Automation support
- Control Valve installation and repair.
- Preventative maintenance tasks.
- Fire and gas detection setup and calibration
- Work in industrial work settings
- Work around energized power and control equipment
- Determine appropriate selection of materials
- Keep maintenance and safety documentation
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in a learning environment based on traditional journeyperson to apprentice principals.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in the Petroleum Industry
- A valid driver's license as travel will be required

- Completed training in CSO,Standard First Aid, H2S Alive (can be provided)
