Service Specialist

Join our team as a Service Specialist, where your primary role will be to support our customers through the service cycle, ensuring they have the best possible experience in our care. As the main point of contact for all service inquiries, we are seeking an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, professionalism, and a "people-first" attitude. **Responsibilities** - Embrace a customer-centric approach, prioritizing excellent service delivery and cultivating positive relationships with our customers. - Accurately process, prioritize and schedule service orders in liaison with the builder’s Service Department and the homeowner. - Streamline service scheduling to optimize travel arrangements to and from sites, maximizing efficiency. - Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the materials are readily available at least two days before scheduled service. - Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. - Generate service invoices and proactively follow up as necessary to secure corresponding Purchase Orders (POs) from the builder for processing payments. - Develop a deep understanding of the company's services to provide accurate information and guidance to customers. - Perform clerical duties as required and assist the warehouse with material ordering as needed. **Qualifications** - Post-secondary education preferred. - 1 - 3 years of prior experience in a Service Department. - Proficient verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent people skills, personable and attentive. - Strong critical thinking; excels in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with challenging situations. - Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Experience in the construction or related industry is a plus. - Knowledge of tile and natural stone materials is a plus. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Paid time off Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) **Experience**: - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
