A competitive compensation package, employee profit-sharing, a robust corporate wellness program, a vibrant and inclusive work environment, health benefits, RRSP matching and avenues for professional progression further underscore our dedication to our team's well-being and growth. **The Role** **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**: - Provide experience, knowledge, and advice in areas of legislation, OH&S regulations, and client HSE policies, while monitoring corporate HSE performance - Maintaining and auditing of program to ensure COR standard is met - Perform formal and informal inspections/audits - Facilitate/encourage a positive corporate safety culture for employees and subcontractors - Perform HSE orientations and training for new employees - Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations - Identify and implement corporate safety policies, programs and priorities - Incorporate strategies and appropriate training and other prevention tools - Compile, prepare and update statistical reports, including information for pre-qualification for construction projects - Provide necessary support to managers, supervisors and health and coordinators to achieve their objectives - Develop and implement prevention programs for construction sites, including oversight of prevention agents and the safety plans and activities of subcontractors - Ensure compliance with federal, provincial and customer safety standards - Participate in incident investigations **The Requirements** - Over 5 years’ experience in a safety role in commercial construction or a similar industry - College diploma in environmental health and safety or sufficient studies in health, safety and prevention - Member of a recognized professional association in occupational health and safety or working toward such designation as CRSP and/or CHSC would be considered an asset - Regular travel to job sites in the Maritimes and potential travel to all locations where Marco operates - Must hold a valid driver’s license
