Job Title: Cleaning team member

Hello everyone, we are searching for someone to join our amazing team

One of our team members is going on maternity leave soon. We are looking to hire someone to help lighten her load a couple days a week leading in to a full time position once she leaves (late august-early September) Looking for someone who is very energetic, can be on their feet for hours, who can handle physical work.

We are a very positive uplifting team and are searching for a kind individual to match our happy vibes

Some qualifications to work with us are
~ Clean criminal record
~ Class 5 drivers license
~ Strong work ethic

Training
- we will teach new employees our routines, standard cleaning skills, attention to detail, how to use our equipment, quality and speed. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace so there is no set time limit for training.

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Comox Valley, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
