Yorkton U18 AAA Kinsmen Maulersishiring for a **General Manager**. The new GM will be responsible for the overall operations of the team and will take over at the intersection of the end of the 24-25 regular season and the beginning of recruitment and roster development period for 25-26

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Respect in Sport Certification.
- Sport management background - voluntary or business
- Strong knowledge of hockey.
- Junior, collegiate, or professional playing experience preferred
- Criminal Record Check/ Vulnerable Sector check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Overall management of Hockey Operations.
- Representing the Kinsmen Maulers at SMAAAHL meetings and, as necessary and in public or media events.
- Leading, evaluating, and providing directions for coaching and scouting staff.
- Assisting the board of directors in the hiring process for coaches and support staff.
- Assist in scouting, talent evaluation and recruiting of players.
- Jointly selecting the players for the team in conjunction with coaching and scouting staff.
- Scheduling of all practices/games.
- Act as a Liaison between player parents and Hockey Operations.
- Liaising between Hockey Operations and the Board of Directors.
- Assisting in organizing and execution of annual Spring and Fall Camps and associated player meetings.
- Organizing logistics for team travel, including booking hotel rooms and meals.
- Administration of all game day operations.
- Working with the board executive to prepare and execute the annual budget.
- Responsible for having knowledge of, and working within, the Saskatchewan Development Model.
- Foster a positive and respectful culture among the team.
