Chantal's Bridal & Formal is hiring

We are looking for an experience seamstress with knowledge of Bridal or Formalwear. Pinning, sewing and must be skilled with delicate beadwork and hand beading.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Good customer service and patience required
- Able to use an industrial sewing machine and serger
- Fast and efficient
- Familiar with chiffon and lace fabrications
- Ability to work as a team and individually
- Monday - Friday hours and occasional Saturday during the busier season
- Comfortable working with graduation/prom gowns, bridal gowns and formal wear
- Wage negotiable based on experience

**Summary**

As a Dressmaker - Seamstress specializing in alterations, you will be essential in providing high-quality garment modifications and custom fittings to meet client needs. Your core skills in basic math and customer service will enable you to accurately assess measurements and ensure client satisfaction. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences and deliver tailored solutions. This role requires attention to detail and creativity, allowing you to transform garments while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. **Responsibilities**
- Measure and cut fabric according to customer specifications and design requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Perform alterations and repairs on garments, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
- Communicate effectively in English with clients and team members to ensure clarity and satisfaction.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,000.00-$73,666.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
