**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the senior carpenter with demolition of interior residential structures.
- Follow instructions to remove walls, floors and ceilings using hand and power tools.
- Sort and dispose of debris and waste materials in a responsible manner.
- Clean up work area at the end of each day to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with framing new structures as needed.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Report any issues or concerns to senior carpenter.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to adapt readily to rapid and changing environment.
- Exceptional teamwork skills.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to deal with fast paced environment.

**Requirements**:

- Vulnerable Sector Police Screening
- Relevant experience in a general labour role.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good stamina and physical health
- Ability to read, write, speak English.

**Job Type **Full-time

**Pay Rate**

$45,000/hour
