**SUMMARY**
The primary responsibility of a team member is to provide excellent customer service and to maintain a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with company standards and guidelines. The position requires regular contact with guests and workers, as well as working closely with management, sales representatives, and other team members. Team members should be willing to learn and be taught in a step by step manner from start to finish, as well as be willing to share ideas for ways to improve the business. This position requires a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:
- Greet guests warmly and provide a high level of customer service
- Work with management team members to assist in answering customer questions and concerns
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store while accepting orders, checking them out, and collecting payment
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working in the checkout area
- Open or close the store according to management instructions
- Complete all daily inventory checks and maintain storage areas clean, orderly, and merchandising clearances according to company standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, including walk-in coolers, freezers, fryers, walk-in coolers, freezers, fryers, dishwashing areas, trash areas, storage areas, tables and chairs
- Follow all company safety procedures while working in the meat processing area or any other area that does not require on-site exposure to chemicals that are produced during the production process
- Other duties as assigned (i.e., cleaning floors, sweeping floors, sweeping walkways)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team. Maintain a positive attitude. Be willing to learn new skills from others. Be able to follow directions. Be able to complete tasks accurately and on time. Maintain composure in high pressure situations. Be able to work in cold temperatures (0 degrees or below). Be able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $15.25-$18.00 per hour
