Northern Tropic Homes Ltd. is looking for a skilled worker with carpentry and/or glass glazing experience to work in our wood shop. This person will be responsible for prepping wood materials, receiving material deliveries (wood/glass), bringing materials to job sites (wood/glass), assisting with glass installations or prep.

They will also be in charge of keeping the shop clean and organized, bringing waste to the dump when needed.

**Experienced in**

  • Curtain Wall Systems, Skylights, Glass Railings
  • Sealed Unit Replacements, Architectural Glass
  • Repairs/Maintenance
  • Carpentry or Wood Working
  • Storefront Entrance Systems, Residential Glass Showers, Office Partitions, Mirrors/Mirror Walls

**Requirements**

  • Must have Glass Glazing and/or Carpentry Experience
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting
  • Must have a valid drivers licence
  • Must have a cell phone (communication/Buildertrend)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Has friendly customer service
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
  • Effectively report to General Manager/Project Manager regularly
  • Must be capable and willing to use/learn Buildertrend

**Expectations**:Employees are expected to demonstrate our values of excellence, accountability, respect, teamwork and professionalism. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
