Custodian/janitor

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health standards.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
