**Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor**

**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining inventory accuracy to meet company objections and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Manage and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assign tasks and monitor daily activities to ensure productivity and compliance with company policies.

**Inventory Management**:

- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Implement and monitor procedures for inventory control.

**Operational Efficiency & Compliance**:

- Develop and implement processes to enhance warehouse operations.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on warehouse performance.

**Safety, Training, and Equipment Maintenance**:

- **Track and conduct WHMIS training** for warehouse employees to ensure compliance with hazardous material handling regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper **maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks (pallet movers), and other machinery** to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to align warehouse activities with company objectives.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Experience with warehouse management software and databases.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- WHMIS certification and ability to train others is an asset.

**Certifications**:

- Forklift operation certification is an asset.
- First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial.

**Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)**:

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for inventory and warehouse management.
- Knowledge of barcode scanning systems and warehouse automation.
- Previous experience implementing or optimizing ERP-related warehouse workflows.
- Understanding of lean warehouse management principles to improve efficiency.
- Experience working in high-volume distribution or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot ERP and warehouse management system (WMS) issues.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting heavy items.
