**Job Duties**:

- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the **Volvo L7OH** FE loader w/ 5-yard bucket.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, truck drivers and supervisors, always adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Timely gathering and consolidating of recyclables, sample collection/retention, data capture and loading of recyclables over the top of multiple walking floor trailers safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring and managing Recycling material pile by ensuring all materials are identified and organized accordingly.
- Coordinating with other team members to place or move materials as required.
- Coordinate yard traffic safely and efficiently. Expected average of 35 trucks per day.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Ensuring the machinery is properly lubricated, fueled, and in good working order.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.
- Work will be performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.
- Observe safe work practices.
- Maintain daily records relating to both the receiving facility, recyclables and Volvo L7OH.

**Job Requirements**:

- 1 to 2 years' experience operating an FE Loader is required. Preferred experience with Volvo L7OH.
- Experience in the waste and recycling, quarry or landscape industry is preferred.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills to be able to communicate, understand and respond to questions, instructions, signs, signals and safety training.
- Valid certification or license to operate front end loader machinery
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety procedures
- Proficient in operating front end loaders to load and unload materials
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting of front-end loader machinery
- Physically fit to perform manual labor and work in outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
