*About the Role*

*Responsibilities*
Working with clients in their homes assisting with activities of day living such as:Toileting and brief changing. Bathing and dressing. Oral care. Mobilization and transfers Feeding (including tube-feeding) and light meal preparation. Therapeutic exercise as proscribed by a Physio Therapist. Light house keeping; such as sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, laundry.

Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans
- Helping clients with leisure activities.
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients. Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a client.
- Documenting daily care in the electronic chart.
- Communicate and document changes in client status with: the client and/or Power of Attorney, with the nurse supervisor.
- Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory

- Certification as a PSW in Ontario.
- Vulnerable sector screening *

Medical Verification: 2 Step Tuberculosis check, up to date vaccinations
- Current Driver’s license with appropriate insurance, and maintained
- Current basic lifesaving certification or equivalent and maintained
- Personal vehicle in good working order and maintained.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 0-25 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Work Location: On the road
