**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet the restaurant's standards.
- Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed during busy service periods.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
- Ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management principles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
